ABOUT MY APPROACH
Welcome to the Greater Boston Sleep and Pain Treatment Center. As a Clinical Health Psychologist specialized in Behavioral Medicine, my work is centered on the profound intersection of physical health and psychological well-being. I founded this center to provide a dedicated space for individuals seeking specialized care for insomnia, chronic pain, and the emotional complexities—such as depression and anxiety—that often accompany them.

The Therapeutic Partnership
In our work together, we go beyond symptom management. We will explore your unique experience with a focus on behavioral change, the reprocessing of emotions and physical sensations, and shifting your relationship with unconstructive thoughts- all while prioritizing the profound connection between mind and body. Together, we identify specific targets for change, dismantle patterns that are no longer serving you, and build a life guided by your values rather than the constraints of illness.

An Active, Evidence-Based Framework
My approach is active, present-focused, and deeply collaborative. This treatment is most effective for individuals who are ready to be engaged during our sessions and committed to applying our work to their lives outside of the clinical setting.

I am trained in several evidence-based therapies—approaches rigorously studied and proven to be effective—and I customize your treatment to align with your personal needs and goals.

Clinical Themes
Our work often involves evolving your relationship with emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations—such as pain or physiological arousal—and moving toward discomfort with curiosity rather than avoidance. We focus on shifting away from "shoulds" and instead engaging deeply with what truly matters to you.

Experience & Expertise
My clinical background spans a diverse range of clinical settings, including outpatient psychiatry, primary care, and specialized clinics such as spine and sleep centers. Having worked with patients in both short-term, intensive protocols and long-term therapeutic engagements, I provide a scope of care that is both flexible and attuned to your individual needs.

Ultimately, my goal is to provide you with the skillset and the inspiration to build a life you find worth living.
