Invest in Your Care
To provide the depth of expertise and highly individualized attention my patients deserve, I have chosen to operate as a private-pay practice. This model allows me to prioritize quality over volume—ensuring that your care is driven solely by your clinical needs and my full professional focus, rather than the constraints often imposed by insurance providers.
Out-of-Network Insurance Reimbursement
Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, which typically reimburse between 40% and 100% of the allowable cost. If you choose to utilize these benefits, payment is due at the time of our session. To make this process as seamless as possible, I offer a comprehensive courtesy billing service: Through a partnership with Thrizer, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform designed to streamline out-of-network reimbursements, my office handles the administrative burden. We generate and submit your clinical receipts (Superbills) directly to your insurance provider on your behalf, with no additional cost to you, facilitating a more efficient reimbursement process and allowing your focus to remain entirely on your clinical progress.
Please note: Reimbursement percentages are applied to your insurance carrier’s designated rate for services, not necessarily my full fee. I recommend contacting your insurance directly to confirm your specific out-of-network coverage.
The Private-Pay Advantage
Some clients prefer to bypass insurance entirely to ensure the highest level of discretion and clinical autonomy. Self-paying allows us to focus on your wellness without the requirement of a formal diagnosis on your permanent medical record or the restrictions on session frequency often mandated by insurance companies. Under this model, no claims are submitted, and the full session rate is due at the time of service.

General Information about Billing and Fees:
The No Surprises Act: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” which estimates how much your medical care will cost. Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to provide patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for total expected costs of any non-emergency items or services.
You can always request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. Your healthcare provider should give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
